我最近也遇到了80048820问题，我按照这里说的所有方法都试过，都不成功。但是我在留言里看到有位朋友提到，新帐户可以登陆，我试了试真的可以，于是我把老账户里的C:\Documents and Settings\你的账户名\Application Data下的所有文件夹和文件都删除，问题解决。

千万别删什么文件，不然启动栏里面的快速启动会没有的！
   
用代理上网会连不上HOTMAIL的 网站和MSN，会出现80048820的错误代码。按步骤做：1，控制面板－internet选项－连接－局域网设置－代理服务器把那个钩去掉；2，打开 你的msn等那个80048820错误界面出现时点击疑难问题解决那边进入修复就可以了……   不过要保证那个钩去掉哦。不然下次还会有这个错误。
